The last few months have seen us taking on a hugely fun web project for a local craft beer startup – and while the site has been bubbling away since before Christmas, we can now raise a cheer because it’s gone live!
The folk at Double-Barrelled got in touch with us last summer to say work was underway on the branding but they needed someone to execute that on a website. But it wasn’t a project we could start straightaway because brewery founders Mike and Luci Clayton-Jones were still touring America getting ideas for their own brews! (what a trip that sounds like!).
Once they got back it was hands to the pump – so to speak – to ensure their site was up and running in time for their January 8 launch. Branding agency Kingdom & Sparrow – who specialise in food and drink packaging – did a great job of combining an architectural logo with imagery that captures the couple’s worldwide travels (the inspiration for their first beers), and it was up to us to interpret that while also working in the fun, personable feeling that Mike and Luci give off when you meet them in person.
It’s always nice working on a project with a difference, and this certainly falls into that category. And it won’t have ended with the site launch either, as the pair have ambitious plans that will hopefully see the addition of an online shop for beer and merchandise – we can’t wait to see how the brewery grows over the next few months.

They fully understood, digested & embraced our brief, were respectful of our budgets and timelines and in the end created something that we can both be proud of. Always professional in their manner, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will be sure to use them in the future.”
